DIY Friendship Bracelets Using a Plastic Bottle – Custom, Cute and Eco-Friendly

In this project, I created two bracelets with names on them: Taylor and Billie. You can customize yours with any name, word or symbol you want. Whether you're a fan of Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish or just want to surprise your best friend with something handmade and heartfelt, this is the perfect craft.
What You’ll Need
• An empty plastic bottle (any soft plastic works great)• Embroidery threads in your favorite colors• Scissors• Tape or a clip to hold your bracelet while you work• A little patience and creativity
Step-by-Step Overview
1. Cut the PlasticCut the plastic bottle into a flat strip. This will be the base of your bracelet. It's flexible but sturdy enough to hold its shape.
2. Wrap with ThreadChoose your thread colors and begin wrapping them around the plastic base. You can alternate colors or create a gradient effect.
3. Add Letters and ShapesThis is the fun part. I show you exactly how to weave letters into your bracelet pattern. It's surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it. You can add names, hearts, stars or any shape you like.
4. Finish It OffTie off the ends, add a knot or clasp, and your bracelet is ready to wear or gift.
